Aldo Della Rosa and Robson Braga de Andrade
President of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), Robson Braga de Andrade commands the entity in place of Armando Monteiro Neto, who held the position for two terms.
Former president of the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG) for two terms (2002 to 2010), Robson Braga de Andrade, 61, is a mining engineer from São João Del Rey. UFMG), industrial, is the 12th president of CNI.
For 30 years, Robson Braga de Andrade presides over Orteng Equipamentos e Sistemas Ltda, a state-of-the-art company based in Contagem, a city in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, which produces equipment for the energy, oil, gas, mining, steel, Telecommunications and transport.
Before being elected, he was second vice president of the CNI. He was the president of the entity’s Thematic Councils on Environment and Legislative Matters, director of the Business Council of Latin America (2004/2006), member of the Strategy Council of the ABDIB (Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Base Industries, 2001/2003) .
He is a full member of the Economic and Social Development Council of the Presidency of the Republic (CDES) and vice-president of the Business Confederation of the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries).
He also coordinated in the CNI the work of the Special Mining Commission, which identified a common agenda for the mining segments and elaborated proposals for the improvement of the policies and regulatory framework of the sector.
