Cristina Borges Ranzolin Falcão, better known as Cristina Ranzolin is the presenter of Jornal do Almoço, on RBS TV.
Cristina Ranzolin was hired in the 1980s by RBS TV (an affiliate of Rede Globo in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina). She is the daughter of Armindo Antônio Ranzolin, one of Rio Grande do Sul’s great sports radio stations. As a journalist, he started in sports reporting, because it was the only available spot.
In mid-1989, Cristina presented the program Campo e Lavoura, which is presented today by Irineu Guarnier Filho. In 1993, he moved to Rio de Janeiro. Where he worked for three and a half years at Rede Globo, where, along with William Bonner, presented Jornal Hoje from 1993 to 1996. He also presented Jornal da Globo for 15 days, replacing Fátima Bernardes before Lillian’s arrival Witte Fibe.
In 1996, Cristina returned to Rio Grande do Sul and to RBS TV, to present the Jornal do Almoço with the journalists Rosane Marchetti, Paulo Sant’Ana and Lasier Martins, and after Rosane left in November 2010 to do reports for the Globo Reporter in Rio Grande do Sul, began to be unique presenter of the television news.
